1. APPROVED sections are approved only when Approve count is greater than Do Not Approve.
2. Abstentions are excluded from the pass/fail count & recorded for total number of votes cast.
3. A tie or Not Approve will return section back to the floor for discussion.
4. Only financial members in good standing are eligible to vote.

Any failed section(s) are not stricken automatically. The Chair will bring each unresolved provision to the floor for membership discussion, amendment, referral, or other proper disposition before final ratification.

After all provisions are resolved, one final majority ratification vote will take place.
Roberts Rules of Order requires only majority vote for ratification. Once approved, final ratified document will submitted by Const & Bylaws committee to chapter officers and chapter will move forward under the auspices of the new documents the month following ratification vote.
